    ORC Worlds Trieste 2017 / Ph. A. Carloni 🇬🇧 The beautiful Gulf of Trieste, in the North Adriatic, was hosting the World Championship for offshore sailing from the 30th June to the 8 July. The ORC Worlds were completely dominated by Italian Teams. In Class A, the victory was finally taken by Vincezo Onerato and his Mascalzone Latino Team. Renzo Grottesi and his CSQ2 Sailing Team on the yacht BeWild won the ORC World Championship for Class B, and for Class C, Cesare Bressan and his Airis. All-amateur teams were ranked in Corinthian Class Trophies. In Class A the winner was Danilo Falzitti’s Zerocould. In Class B, Ermanno Galeati’s Reve de Vie.     The Great Sailing Battle of Gotland 2017 - ⛵️💦 5️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ nautical miles, solo, non-stop

    Wielka Żeglarska Bitwa o Gotland 2017 🇵🇱 I wyruszyli na swoich rumakach Wojownicy na Wielką Bitwę o Gotland. W wypolerowanych zbrojach, przy dumnie powiewających sztandarach, opuścili bezpieczny port. Dwudziestudwóch śmiałków w asyście Aniołów (jednostki osłonowe). Bitwa jest jedną z najbardziej wymagających i najtrudniejszych regat solo, non-stop na Morzu Bałtyckim. Przed żeglarzami czeka 500 mil morskich. Bitwa to walka nie tylko z przeciwnikiem, ale i z samym sobą, własnymi słabościami, nieprzewidywalnymi żywiołami natury, które nie wybaczą błędów na polu bitwy... zbierając już pierwsze ofiary... w nocy wycofał się z pola bitwy Jacek z Polled2 po awarii autopilota. A to dopiero początek.. łatwo nie będzie, na powrót z Gotlandii zapowiadane do 40 kts 💨💨 SW wiatru. Pomyślnych wiatrów... i bezpiecznego powrotu do portu!
