The sommer yachting and just one week to see the beautiful places of Mallorca and its a smaller sister - Menorca.

🇬🇧 The gigantic rocks falling into the sea, the sparkling coves with the turquoise water, the ruins scare with pirate myths, colorful mini marinas located between water and rock, dolphins with artistic program. This and more can only be admired from the perspective of the yacht. Last but not at least, local specialties and wines, the MAHOU beer. In the kitchen, fish and seafood are dominating in many forms, what else could be. The Caldereta de Llagosta is worth of attention.
We started the sailing adventure, cruising from Palma de Mallorca to Mahón on Menorca. Here, like anywhere else, the night is mixed with the day. Well, it's all about the Cova d'en Xoroi (15 km from Mahón). It is a club located in a rock/ grotto, which majestically climbing over the foamy waves of the sea. From here you can admire, how the sunset passes unnoticed into the sunrise. The saxophonist plays the rhythm to dance in the sparkling moonlight. Unforgettable place, worth recommending. We continued cruising along the northern coast of Menorca and throw anchors near to Arenal d'en Castell and Cala Algaiarens. Improving the Technique... Next, we sailed with the wind to the port of Ciutadella de Menorca. The time rushed us and we left Menorca sailing to Puerto de Sóller, northern Mallorca. In the marina we looked wordless at our neighbor, the black stallion from Wally's stable - Esence (143'4" ft (approx. 44 m)). Well, some shadow is also good 😄 . From Port Sóller we sailed to Puerto Adriano with the last swimming stop near Cala Basset.
Mallorca is one of the favorite holiday destinations for tourists from all over the world. In the summer, especially August, I recommend to make reservations in the marinas. Unfortunately, also in popular coves a lot of yachts are crowded and you have to watch out for anchors, as well as fishing nets. Menorca is a popular destination for tourists from...... Spain. Here, you will find lovely coves perfect for water sports, sailing schools for kids, Spanish "slow life", authentic local cuisine, and prices that everyone are able to afford.
Las Islas Bonitas is not without significance the classic coastal waters - "must do". Thank you Gerhard!

🇵🇱 Tym razem letni jachting i tylko tydzień aby nacieszyć się namiastką tego co oferują piękne zakamarki wysp Mallorca i jej mniejszej siostry - Menorca. Kolosy skalne wpadające do morza, zatoczki z turkusową wodą, ruiny straszące mitami o piratach, kolorowe mini mariny z jedną keją, usadzone między wodą a litą skałą, delfiny z programem artystycznym, to wszystko i więcej można podziwiać tylko z perspektywy jachtu. Już nie wspominając o lokalnych specjałach i winach, i piwko MAHOU. W kuchni królują ryby i owoce morza pod różnymi postaciami, no bo jak inaczej, polecenia warte jest Caldereta de Llagosta.
Wyruszamy na żeglarską przygodę z Palma de Mallorca do Mahón na Menorce. Tutaj jak nigdzie indziej, noc miesza się z dniem. A to wszytko za sprawą Cova d'en Xoroi (15 km od Mahón). Jest to Klub ulokowany w wydrążonej skale / grocie, która majestatycznie góruje nad spienionymi falami morza. Stąd można podziwiać jak zachód słońca przenika niezauważalnie w wschód słońca. Saksofonista w blasku księżyca nadaje rytm roztańczonej gawiedzi. Niezapomniane miejsce, warte polecenia. Dalej płyniemy wzdłuż północnego wybrzeża Menorca i rzucamy kotwice w okolicach Arenal d'en Castell oraz Cala Algaiarens. Doskonalenie Techniki Manewrowania... Dalej z wiatrem wpływamy do portu Ciutadella de Menorca. Czas goni i opuszczamy Menorce płynąc w kierunku portu Sóller na Mallorce. W marinie mogliśmy podziwiać, jako naszego sąsiada, czarnego ogiera ze stajni Wally - Esence (143'4" ft (ok. 44 m)). Cóż, trochę cienia nie zaszkodzi nikomu. Z portu Sóller udajemy się już w kierunku Puerto Adriano z ostatnim przystankiem na kąpiel w okolicach Cala Basset.
Mallorca to ulubiny cel wakacyjny dla turystów z całego świata. W sezonie letnim, szczególnie miesiąc sierpień, radzę robić rezerwację w marinach. Niestety, również w popularnych zatoczkach dość sporo jachtów się tłoczy i trzeba uważać na szwędobylskie kotwice, i do tego rybackie sieci. Menorca jest natomiast popularnym miejscem urlopowiczów z... Hiszpanii. Tutaj można znaleść urocze zatoczki w sam raz na sporty wodne, są szkółki żeglarskie dla dzieciaków, te hiszpańskie "slow life", autentyczna lokalna kuchnia, i ceny które są przystępne dla każdego.
Las Islas Bonitas nie bez znaczenia są akwenem klasykiem - "must do". Dziękuje Gerhard!
